Raising funds for two deserving charities
Our annual Charity Golf Day took place on Friday 7th July at Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club, with 14 teams battling it out on the course to take home the Alhambra Golf Trophy.
We received overwhelming support from Alhambra contractors, suppliers and local businesses raising a grand total of £4,035.06. To date, Alhambra Shopping Centre’s Golf Days have raised over £43,221.67 for local charities.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank this year’s sponsors once again; Talk to Media, Ride On! Entertainment, Q3 Services, The FM Company, MAC Media, Fizzco Projects and Safe Security and Fire Experts.
This year’s event raised money for two amazing charities; Prostate Cancer UK, the UK’s largest men’s health charity who work towards one goal: ensuring they put men at the centre of everything they do. The second charity being Hallam FM Cash for Kids, South Yorkshire, who are raising funds for children who are really struggling to get through the cost-of-living crisis. Donations will be used to fund cost-of-living grants to make sure children have the basics like food, heating and electricity, clothing, bedding and toiletries.

Sadly, there were no winners of the Hole in One Prizes this year which included a £10,000 cash prize.
We had some fantastic prizes and raffle prizes donated with special thanks to Bondhay Golf Club, Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club, Royston Windows, Fizzco Projects, Boots Barnsley and HUB Parking.
