Mission Christmas at Alhambra Shopping Centre

Please help us make Christmas day different for local children.

Thousands of children are living in poverty. So many are at risk of waking up without presents to open because Christmas is a luxury their families can’t afford. It’ll be just like any other day. But Mission Christmas is here to make a difference ensuring that children living in poverty can have a great Christmas.

Alhambra Shopping Centre, Barnsley is a dedicated drop off point for Mission Christmas helping to ensure that every child wakes to a visit from Santa.

So while you’re stocking up for presents for your family and friends, why not donate to those in need to ensure every child wakes up to a visit from Santa on Christmas morning. We’re looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18. Our drop off point in the centre located on the upper level next to The Entertainer. Simply head into the centre and drop your gift donation in our dedicated boxes.

We will be taking donations from Monday 17 November through to Thursday 18th December.

Gift Ideas

0-3 YEARS – Teddies, musical toys, my first toys, rattles, books, play mats
3-5 YEARS – Cars, dolls, jigsaws, dress up items, playdoh, colouring books and pencils, books
5-7 YEARS – Lego, art and craft sets, skipping ropes, cuddly toys, jewellery set, action figures, books, board games
7-9 YEARS – Footballs, board games, books, remote control toys, stationery sets
9-12 YEARS – Board games, books, make up sets
12-18 YEARS – We know teenagers can be hard to buy for and they’re the age group we usually get the least donations for. Here’s a few ideas to help out
toiletries, electrical items (straighteners, mini speakers), aftershave & perfumes, jewellery, puzzles, make-up, books, lunch boxes, duvet sets
